Who we serve, and how we work with you.
Two paths. One philosophy.
Whether you’re building wealth or preparing to draw on it, the questions are different, but the standard of care isn’t. Here’s who we work with best.
Who we're not the right fit for.
Most firms won't tell you this. But being clear about who we don't serve well is the best way to be honest about who we do. If any of the below sounds like you, we'd rather point you somewhere better than take you on and disappoint you.
- Active traders looking for stock picksIf you want someone to run individual stock ideas past, or trade in and out of positions based on news, that's not what we do. We build long-horizon plans, not trading accounts.
- DIY investors who want validationIf you've built your own plan and want us to rubber-stamp it, this isn't the relationship. We do our own analysis, and we'll tell you what we actually think, including when we disagree with what you're doing.
- People chasing the highest recent returnPast performance isn't a strategy. If your criteria for choosing an advisor is who beat the S&P last year, we're not going to win that pitch, and honestly, the firm that does probably won't repeat it.
- Households not ready to planPlanning takes engagement. If you're not ready to share full financial information, have honest conversations about goals, or make decisions between meetings, the process won't work well for either of us.
- Anyone who needs guarantees we can't makeNobody can guarantee market returns, and any advisor who implies otherwise is either mistaken or worse. If you need certainty, there are products designed for that; we can point you to them, but they aren't what we build our plans around.
If none of that describes you, you're probably exactly who we do great work for.
How we uphold our fiduciary duty
- Written Investment Policy Statement and financial planning scope
- Annual (or more frequent) review of goals, risk, fees, and progress
- Vendor and product due diligence with documented screening
- Conflicts and fees disclosed in your onboarding packet and Form ADV
A plan, not a pitch.
Three meetings. No pressure. By the end, you’ll have a written plan you can use whether you work with us or not.
Discover
A conversation, not a sales pitch. We ask about your goals, your timeline, what keeps you up at night, and what retirement actually looks like to you. If you have a spouse or partner, we want them there too, plans made without both voices don’t hold up.
- Your goals and timeline
- Current investment picture
- Tax situation basics
- Family and legacy priorities
- What you want the plan to answer
Design
Between meetings, we do the work. We build a full financial model of your situation, investments, taxes, insurance, Social Security, estate, and we run scenarios. Good markets, bad markets, early retirement, delayed retirement, one spouse working, one spouse not. Then we map the gaps.
- Cash flow & income projections
- Tax analysis (current & multi-year)
- Withdrawal sequence modeling
- Social Security optimization
- Risk & insurance review
Align
You receive a written, personalized plan covering income, taxes, risk, and legacy. We walk through it together, you can push back on anything, ask questions, and change assumptions. The document is yours to keep regardless of whether we work together going forward.
- Written Premier Wealth Complete Financial Strategy
- Recommended next steps
- Timeline for key decisions
- An answer to “am I on track?”
- No obligation to continue
Tangible work, not talking points.
Every client relationship produces real deliverables, documents you can read, models you can question, decisions with numbers behind them. Here’s what shows up in your inbox.
Written Premier Wealth Complete Financial Strategy
A personalized document covering income, tax strategy, risk, and legacy, with specific recommendations, not generic guidance. Yours to keep either way.
Income & Cash Flow Model
A living projection of your retirement income across scenarios, good markets, bad markets, longer life, shorter career. Updated as your situation evolves.
Tax Strategy Analysis
Multi-year tax planning, Roth conversions, withdrawal sequencing, charitable giving. We coordinate with your CPA when you have one, and can refer you to one when you don't.
Direct Access to Your Advisor
A real phone number and email that reach your advisor directly. Not a call center. Not a rotating relationship manager. The advisor whose name is on your plan.
Regular Review Cadence
Scheduled check-ins to revisit assumptions, adjust for life changes, and update the plan as tax law and markets shift. The plan is a living document, not a shelf item.
Coordinated Team of Specialists
Through our partnership with AMB Wealth, when your situation needs a specialist, complex tax, estate attorney, insurance analyst, we bring in the right person rather than pretending we know everything.
